Phnom Penh has a friendly, good-value pub scene. Sisowath Quay along the riverside, BKK1 and the Street 278 area have British and Irish-style bars popular with expats, NGO workers and visitors, many with pool tables and big screens for the football.

Beer is cheap, happy hours are generous, and many pubs serve full breakfasts and roasts.
