West Singapore

Singapore's west, from Pasir Panjang and Buona Vista out to Bukit Batok and Bukit Timah, is home to some of the island's most characterful neighbourhood pubs. Away from the tourist trail, they feel like a village local, with friendly owners, a regular crowd and some of the best-rated pints in Singapore.

Expect hearty pub food, full English breakfasts, Sunday roasts and rugby and football on the screens. Most are a short walk or taxi ride from the nearest MRT station, and parking can be limited.
