If you have ever landed in a new city and wondered where the nearest real pub is, you will know the problem. In much of the region the word "pub" is used for almost any bar, often one with a live band or karaoke. General review sites mix genuine pubs up with nightclubs, beer halls and hotel lobbies, and the details that matter, such as whether they do a Sunday roast or whether the rugby will be on, are hard to find. Pub Go Where puts those details up front.
We list genuine British and Irish pubs, including Scottish pubs and British gastropubs, that have the look, menu and atmosphere of a proper local back home. We leave out bars that simply call themselves pubs. Every listing is checked before it goes live and includes the address, a map, contact details and the features pub-goers care about: Sunday roasts, live sport, pub quizzes, live music and outdoor seating.
