The Globe

The Globe has been pouring pints in Central for the best part of two decades and is one of the few genuine British gastropubs in Hong Kong. It sits on the ground floor of the Garley Building on Graham Street, a short walk up from Queen's Road Central, and the room has the look of a proper local: dark wood, clocks and old maps on the walls and a long bar lined with taps.

The menu is classic pub food done well: pies and chips, bangers and mash, fish and chips and a Sunday roast, with vegetarian options too. The beer list is one of the best in the city, with around 18 rotating draughts from Hong Kong, the UK and further afield. It gets loud and busy for big rugby and football matches.

It opens every day from 10am until late, with a long happy hour from opening time into the early evening.
