The Boar

The Boar opened in September 2026 on Elgin Street in Soho, from the team behind Bourke's, and it brings a proper British gastropub to one of Central's busiest dining streets. It looks and feels like a pub back home, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

The food is the focus: Scotch eggs, pies such as pork cheek pie with mash, coronation chicken salad, steaks, oysters and sticky toffee pudding, with a Sunday roast at weekends. The Guinness is well poured, and there is a short list of twists on classic cocktails.

It is open from noon until midnight, Tuesday to Sunday, and closed on Mondays. Tables can be booked online.
