Rosey Murphy's Irish Pub

Rosey Murphy's sits on Jalan Drupadi in Seminyak, a quieter street away from the beach-club crowds, and is one of the few genuine Irish pubs in Bali. The open-fronted bar is painted in green and gold, and inside it is dark wood, chandeliers, Irish flags, shamrocks and framed photos on the walls.

Guinness is on tap alongside local lagers, and the kitchen turns out hearty Irish and British pub food such as shepherd's pie and fish and chips with chip-shop style chips. There is a pool table and a dartboard, free to use, and a few tables out front.

Screens around the bar show the big games, and it is a natural home for Celtic, Premier League and rugby fans. Live music plays at the weekend from Saturday and Sunday afternoons into the evening, and the friendly crowd of expats, long-stayers and holidaymakers makes it an easy place to meet people.
