The Royal Oak

The Royal Oak has been pouring pints on Sukhumvit Soi 33/1 for decades, making it one of the longest-running British pubs in Bangkok, and it was named among the city's best pubs in BK Magazine's 2026 awards. It is a traditional pub over several floors, with British portraits on the walls, a long bar downstairs and more seating and a function room above.

Roast dinners are the house speciality, served with all the trimmings and good value for the size of the plate, and the menu runs from ploughman's and pub grub to daily specials and Thai dishes. Football and rugby are shown on plenty of screens, and the upstairs room hosts regular events, including a comedy club. It is a short walk from BTS Phrom Phong and opens from breakfast until midnight every day.
