Irish Pub

This Irish Times is a compact, owner-run pub on Thawee Ratdapak Road, near the Boonjumnong Apartment, a little away from the noise of Chaweng's beach road. Inside are exposed brick, dark wood booths, lamp lighting and a cabinet of bottles, with a screen for sport in the corner.

Regulars praise the Guinness and the spread of draught and bottled beers and spirits. The menu is traditional pub food: shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, Irish stew and racks of ribs, plus Thai dishes for those who want them, and the Sunday roast with roast potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire pudding is a favourite.

Doors open at 8am, so it does breakfast as well as lunch and dinner, and it stays open until midnight. Reviewers describe a relaxed, friendly room rather than a party bar, which suits a quiet pint, a full meal or watching the football.
