The Bluebell Public House

The Bluebell Public House opened on 20 September 2026 on Jl. Tulodong Atas, a quiet street on the edge of Senopati in South Jakarta. It describes itself as a modern British public house and chophouse, and it looks the part: a blue frontage with oak barrels by the door, a long wooden bar, wood-panelled walls hung with framed prints, booth seating and an upright piano in the corner.

Drinks lean towards draught beer, ale and whisky, poured from six lines, with Guinness on tap alongside gin, cocktails and wine. The kitchen sticks to British comfort food, with burgers and chips, sticky toffee pudding and butter-roasted cabbage among early favourites, and there is a family Sunday roast. Allergens are marked on the menu and there are vegetarian options.

It is pet friendly, and a private room can be booked for meetings and events. Open daily from 10am, until 1am Monday to Thursday and 2am Friday to Sunday. It is developed and run by Basho Projects, the Jakarta group behind Bebop Bar + Kitchen and BRIQ Bistro.
