Scruffy Murphy's Irish Cafe-Pub

Scruffy Murphy's reopened in 2019 in a cottage-style building on South Buona Vista Road, near Haw Par Villa MRT. The rustic, homely interior and hands-on owner give it the feel of a small-town local, and there are a few tables outside plus a patio area.

Guinness drinkers rate the pint here among the best in Singapore, and there is a decent spread of other draught beers. The menu mixes Irish staples like beef and Guinness pie, shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips and Irish stew with an all-day breakfast.

It is a well-known spot for watching rugby, and also screens football and Formula 1.
