O'Leary's Irish Pub

O'Leary's Irish Pub opened in July 2023 on Sukhumvit Soi 15, between Nana and Asok, taking over the space that was previously The Irish Pub. The refurbished frontage is hard to miss, with its green-and-gold sign, Irish tricolours and a raised terrace looking out over the soi.

Guinness is the headline pour, backed by a good list of Irish whiskeys, which suits the founder, Louie, whose idea was to pair the whiskey with Thai cooking. The kitchen does pub staples such as fish and chips, burgers and a New York strip loin alongside Thai favourites like green curry, tom yum and grilled neck pork. There are screens for the football, rugby and Formula 1, and a pool table.

Local bands play at the weekend and the pub hosts traditional Irish music sessions. It is open every day from 9am to 2am, making it a handy stop for an early kick-off or a late pint, and Bar Louie, from the same team, is just round the corner on Soi 11.
