Molly Malone's Irish Pub

Molly Malone's opened in 1995 as the city's first Irish pub, and its dark-wood interior was reportedly shipped over from Ireland and rebuilt piece by piece. Tucked just behind Boat Quay, it is a long-standing after-work haunt for the CBD crowd and a natural meeting point for visiting Irish and British drinkers.

Expect Guinness and Kilkenny on the bar alongside a solid line-up of Irish whiskeys such as Jameson, Tullamore Dew and Bushmills. The kitchen is proud of its fish and chips, and the menu also leans on comfort classics like beef and Guinness pie and bangers and mash.

Live sport is shown on the screens, there is live music on most nights, and Monday is quiz night. It stays open late at weekends, until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays.
