Malthouse

Malthouse doesn't call itself a pub, but it is one in all but name. Set on East Coast Road in Siglap, it is a relaxed neighbourhood local with an open-air, pet-friendly beer garden, and it is popular with East Coast families and regulars.

The bar has up to 20 beers on tap at any time, rotating through local and international brews, with a daily happy hour until 8pm. The kitchen covers classic English pub staples such as fish and chips and bangers and mash, alongside stone-baked pizzas, smoked meats, burgers and steaks, and there is a beef or lamb Sunday roast from noon until it sells out.

Sport is shown on the screens at weekends. There is no live music, just background music, so it is an easy place for a conversation over a pint.
