Hubs

Hubs is a family-run Irish bistro and bar in Siglap Shopping Centre on East Coast Road, which opened in 2022. The green frontage has tables outside, and inside there is a long, green-walled bar room with an old barrel carrying the Irish greeting 'Céad Míle Fáilte' (a hundred thousand welcomes). It is a warm, personal neighbourhood local with a loyal following among East Coast residents.

The menu mixes Irish pub food with local favourites: Irish beef stew, cottage pie and crisp fish and chips with mushy peas, plus satay and pizzas. The Sunday roast, with Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings, is the big draw and books out, so reserve ahead. Guinness and Kilkenny are on draught, with Irish whiskeys and English ciders behind the bar.

It opens from 3pm Tuesday to Saturday and from lunchtime on Sundays, and is closed on Mondays.
