Father Ted's sits on Damnoen Kasem Road in the centre of Hua Hin. It combines an Irish pub, with a stage and big screens, and a steakhouse, and has outdoor tables as well as seating inside.
Guinness is on tap, and the kitchen leans on Australian beef steaks, including a fillet mignon, alongside full Irish breakfasts, bangers and mash, pies, pizzas and pasta. Roast lamb and other Sunday roasts are a draw for long-stay visitors, and Bloody Marys have their own following.
Live music starts most nights from around 7:30pm, with a weekly line-up that has included a Beatles tribute band from Bangkok, Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart tributes, soul acts and Sunday jazz sessions. Sport, including AFL, goes out on several HD screens. It opens from 9am, so breakfast is an option too, and stays open late.
