
El Murphy's occupies a red-painted building on Selakham Road in central Hua Hin, with a few tables out front under the windows. It also lets a handful of simple rooms.
Reviewers describe a welcome in the Dublin tradition, and Guinness is the pint most people come for. The kitchen does big breakfasts from 7am, fish and chips, burgers and roasts of lamb, beef and pork, which turn up on the menu through the week as well as on Sundays, plus Thai dishes.
A band plays from about 9pm most nights, football and other sport is shown on the TVs, and there is a pool table. With hours from 7am to 2am it covers everything from a morning fry-up to a late pint.
