Beer comes cold from the tap alongside a full spirits list and wine. The kitchen sticks to British pub fare, and reviewers single out the beef pie, chicken pie, roast beef and a tenderloin steak with mushroom sauce. Portions are generous, though prices run a little above the Batam norm.
Several TVs show football, rugby and other sport, making it a dependable place to catch a match. Reviewers also describe it as a straightforward drinking pub without the hostess scene found in parts of the district. Card payments are accepted.
